This week we worked on creating bugs and animals in our creation center. As of late, the pre-k children have been discussing the life of bugs and the origin of germs. This week, Elizabeth explain to her peers that bugs need to live to pollinate.
Celebrating the month of love and friendships
The children are so excited to begin celebrating Valentine’s day. We started discussing the importance of loving yourself and appreciating what your body and your mind does for you. We began a fun exercise where the children take a mirror and share 1 thing they love about themselves. Everyone hugged each other, kissed each other, and expressed their love for each other. We want to begin discussing the importance of loving yourself before you can share love with others. Please visit our class next week, all of their quotes are beginning to decorate our classroom.

During our cooking class with Diane we experimented more with marshmallows, toothpicks, raisins, and cheerios.
YETI, SET, SNOW
This week’s filed trip was field with lots of excitement and a fun journey to central park! We rode the subway and traveled uptown. The show was so much fun, everyone was all smiles!
