This week Pre-K visited the neighborhood market (Morgan’s market) to pick up a pumpkin for our classroom. The children have so many ideas for the pumpkin and they are mostly excited to cut it open and investigate the inside next week!

Our first visit to the market this week Pre-K ran into a little problem. We wanted a big, interesting looking pumpkin but we only had $5! We had to figure out how much more money we would need in order to pay $14 for the big, interesting lookin pumpkin. We went back to school, gathered our thoughts, and worked out the problem during our morning meeting the next day. Once we solved the problem we headed back to Morgan’s market and picked up our interesting looking pumpkin with the right amount of money!

Partner Week

This week it was Partner Week in the Pre-K! We worked on slime making, story telling, map creations, and game designing. It was a very successful partner week which we will continue next week!

Halloween Costumes

After brainstorming ideas for our class Halloween costumes, we have finally made a decision! This year, the Pre-K class will be Vampire Unicorns! We will definitely be needing all of your ideas, suggestions, and assistance with this fun annual project!
