Cooking with Children’s Healthy Lifestyles (16 Months -3.5 years)
Incorporating kids into the cooking process opens the door for so many areas of learning. Children will be exposed to new flavors, textures, smells and foods. Naturally children love to explore, taste, and get messy, we will incorporate all of these sensorial experiences in the class while incorporating pre literacy, math and science. JAMMIN’ Music with Andrew (Ages 6 Months- 3.5 Years)
Children love exploring developmentally appropriate instruments like: shakers, rattles, drums, and tambourines while engaging in music. Come sing with us, play instruments and dance with your little ones in our weekly music class!
Mothers Circle (Newborn to 12 months)
Motherhood can be unpredictable and challenging, but you are not alone. Join BMS Mothers circle with your little one. We will discuss everything from feeding, sleeping, and the best baby products along with the struggles and joys of parenthood. Build your mom crew in a relaxed setting while speaking with our Early Childhood Specialist, Chloe Gottlieb M.S. Ed Bank Street. Your infant will engage with intentional materials in our space while we partake in an interactive dialogue about this journey we call parenthood.
Literacy & Play (6 Months-24 months)
Literacy is key component in early childhood, and it is not just about reading, but also bringing literacy to life. Each class will focus on a theme such as seasons, transportation, planting, foods and more. The books and topics will be brought to life through story telling, puppets, songs, and open play materials.
Story Time, Songs and Open Play en Español (Ages 9 Months -3.5 Years)
Looking for a true Spanish immersion class for your little one? Join us for a bilingual Story Time and open play in Spanish. We will read, sing songs and explore the classroom setting all in Spanish. This class is suited for Spanish speakers and learners of all levels.
BABY FINGERS Sign Language (Newborn – 18 months)
Learn American Sign Language through songs and play with other parents, caregivers and children. Go home with new vocabulary and tunes to enhance communication between you and your child! Whether you intend to incorporate sign language in your life for the long term or simply while they discover language, watch in awe as your child discovers the world of language. Our program incorporates the research supporting the benefits of sign language at all ages and stages.
Breast Feeding Support Group
Join Leigh Anne O’Connor, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant with two decades of experience working with breastfeeding families. In this bi monthly support group, we will discuss the challenges and joys of breast feeding in an inclusive environment.
