CLASSROOM HIGHLIGHT: 2A & WOOD WORKING
The 2A class has been very busy exploring how to use tools. With the addition of our woodworking bench and cardboard boxes to construct with, we have been learning so much about structure, strength, shape and stability. Each exploration is expanding our vocabulary, building our confidence and giving us so many wonderful ideas about what to build next.
WINTER WISHES
We still have several envelopes on our tree for Winter Wishes. Please stop by next week to select a child’s name. Each envelope has a hand written letter from a child in a Bronx/Harlem school. Once purchased the gift please wrap it and place the label provided so we can track the school/child it goes to. Gifts will be collected starting Monday until 12/18. Thank you for all of your generosity every year!
NURISH TIP OF THE WEEK
We have a few new families in various classrooms who have started already or that will be in January! Get a head start by welcoming them into our community by messaging the family using the app.
LITTLE GREEN GOURMETS
With the holiday season fast approaching, we understand that life is about to get busier than ever. That's why we wanted to check in now with a reminder that Fall Semester meal service at Buckle My Shoe will come to an end next month, with the last date of service being Friday, December 20th. We hope that this reminder to sign up for Spring Semester service will help to cross one more thing off your holiday to-do list before the season is in full swing.
