While we continue to discuss the alphabet and work on our light and shadow project with flashlights, we are also developing new interests in the kitchen, cooking, and restaurants.

The Restaurant

This morning as we were cooking in the kitchen and creating many delicious picnics, everyone decided that we should also have a restaurant. To have a restaurant, we need a menu. Here are some of our ideas that we’d like to add to our menu (we’ll continue to work on this next week):

Finn: Chocolate!

Kennedy: Spaghetti

Finn: How about pasta?

John: I like to cook raspberries.

Luca: I order pizza. My pizza has on it salad.

Grayson: Pizza!

Kennedy: Watermelon broccoli!

Luca: Muffins

Riley: Ice cream cones

Belle: Pizza with cheese

Sloane: Pizza with sprinkles, cheese and peppers on the top

Kitchen Conversations

Overheard in the kitchen this week:

“I make my own picnic. Apple, apple! Here you go. Want hamburger?” - Grayson

“Here, fish. I like fish. I pour milk in there.” - Luca

“I make a cookie. Happy birthday to you, Rachel!” - Belle

“Look what I got! I making some cake. Chocolate cake!” Kennedy

“No more happy birthday,” Belle, when the cake was gone.

“Now I make a pancake.” - Belle

“Too much!” - Grayson (when he kept giving Rachel a lot of different foods)

Valentines

Thank you so much for coming and making our Valentines party so special- we had a great time together. We also had a lot of fun using hearts and glitter and making your presents!
