The summer program at Buckle My Shoe Preschool is an extension of the school year.  We continue to support children's interests through purposeful play, project work, experiential learning, and hands-on sensory experiences.

It is a slightly slower-paced time of the year, and since the groups are a bit smaller, classes tend to be more multi-ages. Younger children learn from others just a bit older, and older students take on a leadership role and care for their younger classmates.

Our emergent curriculum maintains a focus on literacy, mathematics, and sciences, and activities include stories, arts & crafts, games, cooking, dance, and yoga. Campers are exposed to Spanish and enjoy the outdoors daily, including field trips for the 3’s &4’s!

All sessions are staffed with Buckle My Shoe Preschool educators for campers to grow in a safe and creative environment.
