Classroom Highlight: 2A Kindness Jar
2A introduced a “kindness jar” into their classroom! When the children engage in an act of kindness, such as sharing, helping a friend, or inviting a friend over to play, they can add a pom-pom to the kindness jar. When they fill up the jar they have a big classroom celebration! This type of positive reinforcement can teach compassion, empathy, and encourage socialization between the children.
Enrollment
Early enrollment contracts are due this Monday, December 16. To secure your desired schedule be sure to complete an online contract by then. We have a lot of new families enrolling for the 2020-2021 school year and want to make sure our families get seniority! The school admin portal link is below. Please let us know if you are having any issues.
Early Enrollment Special: Any 5 day, 9 am-3 pm or 8:30 am-5:50 pm schedule, will benefit from a tuition credit of $500 which will be deducted from their last tuition installment. Separately, you will receive a 10% discount if paid in full.
BABY + ME **NEW SEMESTER&CLASSES**
We have added new classes for our Baby + Me program. Our January - March drop in and semesters are now available online. From Cooking with Children’s Healthy Lifestyles to Music with Andrew (our BMS music teacher who is also in children’s well known band Rolie Polie Guacamole) and Sign Language with Baby Fingers check out our new schedule. Winter Wishes
Thank you to everyone who helped participate in our annual Winter Wishes. Buckle My Shoe was able to collect gifts for 75 children who attend PS 291X & those in a community center in the Bronx. We drove up the presents last night and everyone was very appreciative. We will share photos once they are sent to us next week!
Holiday Party
Holidays are already here and we are excited to have another successful Holiday Party in all classrooms to spread the Holiday Cheer. This year to follow tradition in Tribeca we will have Santa come downstairs from the Gym to do his grand entrance then head to Santa Land where all families can visit him. In the West Village he enter the school through a secret entrance!
