This week we really got to enjoy the beautiful Spring weather with a couple of trips to Washington Market Park. Along the way we were happy to chat about our surroundings and objects that we encountered. We also named a lot of the flowers we found in the park and identified so many beautiful colors. As the school year winds down, we will go out as much as we can. Please make sure to apply sunscreen to your child before school begins if it’s predicted to be a sunny day. Thanks!

Wishing all the Mamas a restful and love-filled Mother’s day this Sunday. We wanted to make you a little something, but more is coming for Parent’s day in a couple of weeks.

During the last two weeks we created tracings of all of our bodies and have been working on painting them all. These will be up on the walls very soon- we are so excited to showcase our work and talk with the children more about their individuality and identity. We are hoping that we can have the children come up with some words for each other, much like you did about your own child. It’s always exciting and insightful to hear the adjectives the children come up with.

  • Diane helped us make rosewater soaks for our Mamas

  • Ernestina gave us a taste of Cinco de Mayo with some tortilla chips and guacamole

  • Coach Jojo had us practice running and balancing by running around the cones without tipping them over

  • Emily sang our favorite songs with us, like Five little Monkeys & Wheels on the Bus
