Presenting sand in a new and exciting way!
Lately, the students have shown less interest in exploring sand. What if we presented the material in a different way? How will the students react?
Instead off pouring the sand into the sensory bin, we thought it would be interesting if we poured the sand directly onto the classroom floor- giving the students more space and opportunity to maneuver their bodies over the stimulating material.
Perfect!
The students were immediately drawn to the new provocation! With big smiles, Our friends crawled, walked and pressed their bodies into the cool sand. They were all so excited, it was as if it was their first time exploring the familiar material.
