Our Costumes are Almost Ready!
Thank you families for coming in and helping us create the most fun and delicious costumes with your kids. Everyone is so excited for our annual Halloween parade next week! We will have a practice parade at the school on Monday!
Our paper mache heads are coming along!
We spent the week observing and experimenting with our bodies. We began to discuss the best of ourselves and all of the amazing things we do with our bodies. The children have also been sharing their special skills and teaching each other things they are really good at. We are currently working our faces by creating these amazing 3d sculptures of our faces using paper mache.
Birthday Graph!
This week we also created our birthday graph and counted how many people celebrate their birthday on the same month. The children practiced writing their name, the months, their birthdates and so much more. Please stop by to take a look at their hard work.
Magic Potion!
In the spirit of Halloween we began the festivities by making a delicious potion with Ms. Diane. We mixed apple juice, grape juice, and raspberries to create a very special potion. The children called this the “invisible potion”. Everyone was disappearing after drinking the magic potion.
Thursday always brings exciting changes and explorations. We spent the morning practicing taking turns and following directions while learning how to play a new game: connect four. This gives us the opportunity to collaborate and get to know our friends from 3b. We also got to share our thoughts and discuss the many ways we could all be kind and “fill someone’s bucket” everyday. The children really enjoyed reading Have you filled a bucket today? by Carol McCloud.
Shared Snack!
Thank you to Charlie and her family for sharing such a fun snack! Frozen Yogurt! It was delicious!
