Classroom Highlight: 3A
The 3A classroom started a neighborhood project! They noticed the children kept mentioning landmarks and businesses in their community. The teachers opened up a conversation about their favorite places near Buckle My Shoe and home. They then took a walk around the neighborhood to take their own pictures of places and things that caught their eye. It’s been fascinating to see their prospective on the neighborhood and how it varies per child. Next week they will follow up by creating a map of these places that they have highlighted. We are eager to see where this project brings them!
Pumpkin Picking Trip
Everyone had such a wonderful time in Long Island on the Pumpkin Picking Trip! We are so happy the weather held out. The trip started with a Hayride to the Pumpkin Patch then they were able to feed exotic animals such as the Giraffe, Camels, Marmosets, Lemurs and Squirrel Monkeys. Lastly, it ended with a big picnic. The children always look forward to the Yellow Bus Ride and farm excitement and we were so happy to hear their stories about the day. Thank you for all of your parent participation, we couldn’t have done it without you all!
Mental Health Course
This week our teachers took turns completing a Mandatory Training Course on Mental Health & First Aid course that was brought to the United States by Michelle Obama. The teachers found it to be an incredibly helpful tool in recognizing ultimately helping someone in need. This It is an important workplace initiative that is being utilized by companies worldwide.

Parents! Please add your family and personal profile photos, and to add names and ages of the kids in your family! It's a great way for the kids to let other parents know who is in their class and who they played with, and making it easier for them to reach out.
