We started our week off with an orange hunt around the neighborhood. We found lots of orange things, ranging from flowers to cones, and even some letters.
For science and sensory, we made fluorescent orange slime and fluorescent green slime. We added Halloween creatures to the slime and the children explored by creating creature prints, pulling the slime, or letting it drip from above.
We began our October self-portraits.
We ended the week with a watercolor palette workshop. The children explored the water to paint ratio in order to get the desired shade of color.
